My friends and I went out for dim sum this morning, and tried a new (to us) place based on mentions in the past. We went to Mr. Fong's and were quite happy with the lovely views and delicious food :)
Anyhow, the question is - what's the name for the dim sum dish that's got a doughy bun outside, pan fried, usually filled with minced pork and onions? It's definitely a savory dish. When we tried to explain it, even though we kept saying NOT char siu bao, that's what they kept trying to give us. We didn't know the right way to ask for this dish. If anyone could tell me, I'd appreciate it!
