Question about Cousins/Sour Oranges

Deb A. | Jan 19, 2003 03:26 PM

A friend and I, both nostalgic for Yucatecan food, want to buy some Seville/sour/bitter oranges for cooking, and I figured Cousins Market in north Philly would be the place to find them. However, though I've heard about Cousins in vague terms, I've never been there, and there are four Cousins Food Markets in the phone book (Erie & 10th, Allegeny & 2nd, Lehigh & 2nd, Mascher & Duncannon). Does anyone have an opinion on which is the best and/or biggest Cousins to go to?

Alternately, has anyone seen sour oranges at the Italian Market lately, or have other suggestions?

Thanks for any assistance!
