I was starting to make the Touch of Grace Biscuits on page 77. Since White Lily Flour does't seem to be available in Northern Virginia, I am using the substitute of regular self-rising flour and Wondra Flour, as stated under Notes at the end of this recipe. It also states to add 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. Now, going back to the main recipe, when you start putting the ingredients together, it lists 1/8 teaspoon baking soda but no where in the instructions does it say to add it. Is this an oversight from the publisher or author'? Since I'm using the instructions under Notes at the end and that includes Baking Powder, do I still use the 1/8 teaspoon Baking Soda? Perhaps I missed something in this recipe. Has anyone made these biscuits and, if so, could you clarify this for me? I just purchased this cookbook Jan 24, 2008 so any mistakes should have been corrected by now.
