THANKS - and a question about AYCE sushi, and a good butcher

First of all, THANK YOU SO MUCH for all the great info here. I'm on a trip to the Bay Area, and so far have eaten at Doug's barbecue in Emeryville, the Acapulco taco truck in Hayward (?), and Fresca Peruvian - all recommendations from these boards, and all super.

So thank you.

Tomorrow night I'm cooking, and need a recommendation for a good butcher for beef carpaccio. I should've found someone and called yesterday - I need a place that won't require a day's notice to freeze and slice the beef. Anywhere within a half-hour of SF would be fine.

Also - I'm hoping for AYCe sushi for lunch tomorrow. On the boards here, I've heard recommendations for Sushi Chardonnay, Sushi Hunter, Morpho Sushi, Nara Sushi and Natori Sushi - of these (or others) what's your top pick? I'm obviously not looking for top-grade excellent sushi, but frankly average sushi in the Bay area is better than what I generally get in Toronto, and I'd be delighted to gorge on some lovely fresh fish.

Please let me know where to find good fresh AYCE.
