I want to try making chili con carne using dried ancho chilis rather than chili powder. I have found dozens of recipes for making the chili paste out of the peppers but not one of them says how much of it to use when you add it to a dish. Could someone please give me a ball park idea of whether we are talking about a couple of spoonfuls or a cupful?
