A quick question. I will be in Cambridge with a diverse group of 12 and staying at the Charles. I'm co-hosting it, and I think my co-host and I have very different ideas on an appropriate dinner. My feeling is that everyone will be getting in and just want a nice nearby dinner since we have an early meeting in the morning. I also don't want it to be excruciatingly pricey (e.g. there should be at least some appetizers less than $10, and some entrees less than $25).

So I suggested Henrietta's Table right at the Charles - supposedly very good local fare, not too expensive. Here are her suggestions:

Marino's
Sandrine's
Ole Mexicano
Elephant Walk
Harvest

My feelings are that Marino's, and Ole Mexicano are to far for a five minute walk (as is Sandrine's), and that Sandrine's and Harvest are too expensive. How far is Elephant Walk, which I would love to try? Any other ideas?

We had a private room at the Red House last time, which was fantastic, but I don't want to repeat too soon...
