Queens Chowhound Dinner #3 Vietnamese in Elmhurst

If you went to Queens Chowhound Dinner #2 at Sripraphai or even if you didn't, I thought it was time to hold another. We have a request this time for Vietnamese in Elmhurst-- So, I would like to suggest we meet Friday June 8, at 6:30 at PHO BANG restaurant, 82-90 Broadway, Elmhurst. It's at the entrance to sort of a shopping mall with Singa's Pizza, a Penang, Joe's Shanghai, and another Vietnamese restaurant with a similar name, however I've been assured that Pho Bang is the better of the two. It's the one on the corner right on Broadway with a big red awning. The reason for the early time, is that since reservations are not taken for most of these places, its first come first served. I've done some studies of how Pho Bang fills up, and it has several tables of 8 which should be empty at 6:30 but should start to fill by 7:00. The place smells great, and it's BYOB. Please let me know, either by email or on this board if you plan to join us, so I can keep some watch on the count...
