Hi, I thought I would repost, after Eric's somewhat over zealous response to my first notice. He did after all have some really good ideas in it, and I've copied them all down. But I didn't want people who haven't come to be dissuaded. Despite our being spirited New Yorker's we don't actually have food fights at these dinners. Remember, the food is a catalyst for the people, but it's the people make the evening. And so far, these events have been great.
So let me post the details again:
June 8th, 6:30pm
PHO BANG Vietnamese Restaurant,
Its at the entrance to the parking lot for a mini-mall of restaurants. It has a bright red awning, and it's right on the corner.
Subway: its between the RR stops for Elmhurst and Grand. You can speed your trip out here by taking either the "rollercoaster" (#7-IRT) or the E or the F train to 74th and Roosevelt. If you're on the E or F just switch over to the local track. If you are on the 7, follow the crowd downstairs (but don't leave the station...).
Please post or email me if you're coming...
Thanks again Dick
