We'll be spending a few days in Quebec City and staying at the Hilton near the old city. The local person I'll be working with there has suggested Cochon Dingue, Saint Alexander pub, Le Lapin Saute, Panache, Cafe du Monde, D'Orsay restaurant, Aux Anciens Canadiens and St Patrick Pub. I've seen from other discussions that Continental, Patriarche, L'Initiale and Legende are recommended. Can the Quebec chowhounds help me narrow down my list? Also, can you suggest places for a good breakfast or brunch?
A caveat: I don't eat pork and neither of us is big on game. So places that don't focus on those would be appreciated.
