I'm going to QC this fall and spend 2/3 nights at Chateau Frontenac. I will be in Quebec 6/7 nights and I don't want to stay in the city that long. I thought about driving south to St-Marc-Sur-Richelieu and stay one night at Hostlllerie Les Trois Tilleuis and Spa, leave the next day and drive east to North Hatley and stay one night at Auberge Hatley, then drive back north to QC and stay a night or two at Hotel Dominion.
I could see QC from the Frontenac, tour the country side and then see lower QC from Hotel Dominion, which is next door to Laurie Raphael.
Has anyone been through this path. What do you think. Thanks for any advice. I hate to stay situated in QC for a week. I thought about heading north to Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu for a few days rather than the southern route. Any advice is appreciated. I don't have plans and would like to know what month is best. Thanks.
