End of the "Never Ending Quails?"

As I waited for a bus on Stockton Street this morning, I found myself staring at the shiny new awning on the Canton Plaza market. Very attractive, with gold on red lettering, and depictions of fish and crustaceans. But something seemed to be missing... Just as a #45 Bus was coming, I remembered what it was! The old blue awning had prominently displayed the "Never Ending Quails" logo which had long charmed and mystified locals and tourists alike. If the Never Ending Quails had ended, did that mean the end of civilization? (Or would the Cubs win the World Series?) Panicked, I jaywalked across the street, and dashed into the market. Phew! the quails had not ended, they were comfortably esconced in their usual quarters at the back of the mall, having a chuckle at my expense.

You can rest easier now. The Never Ending Quails have not ended. The apocalypse is not here. But does it mean the Cubs will once again NOT win the World Series?
