Qing Xiang - New Bubble Tea in Flushing

Pookipichu | Apr 29, 201607:49 PM     4

There's a new bubble tea place in Flushing that opened up inside a store on Main Street next to the Flushing Public Library in downtown Flushing. I've only tried the winter melon tea but the flavor is very good, teas are made fresh and the quality is excellent. I prefer it to my recent go-to Gong Cha (which has a new location in Flushing as well, near the Fire Station). Uniquely the bubbles are amber colored and I believe they are made with purple yam and red yeast rice. They are on the sweeter side and even though I ordered the tea without added sugar, it was on the verge of being too sweet for me as a whole. I love that they are offering something unique to the Flushing bubble tea scene though and not using powdered tea like the others (besides Ten Ren and Gong Cha).

The signage has no English name.
