Putting together a "Best of the 7 Train" food crawl

lambretta76 | Sep 26, 2011 03:48 PM

I'd like to put together a best of the 7 train tour for some co-workers coming to town on an upcoming Monday night.

Was thinking along the lines of northern Chinese in Flushing, then some sort of Latin-American cuisine, followed by Indian in Jackson Heights. (And then of course some Guinness in Woodside/Sunnyside.)

Anyways, I'm kind of at a loss. Because of the nature of the trip, I'd prefer informal restaurants to proper sit-down meals, which is where I'm having issues. All I can think of is Xi'an in Flushing (which is now a mini-chain) and Rajhbog in JH (which is fine, but there's better).

Can anyone help -- it's been way too long since I've gone exploring in these nabes and -- even when I have -- they've been sit-down sorts of places.
