purans, what a find!

Had SF family in town, spent the day roaming around the Getty, and the Grove, and Hollywood, and West Hollywood,,well you get the picture. Starving!
Remembering a good meal i had had not long ago at Purans, on Hillhurst, we took a chance.Excellent!
Salads were fresh and imaginative, service friendly and quick, ambience inviting, noise level bearable. A great bargain for the money, a large inviting room with good service and simple delicious food. And a diverse enough menu to feed a motley group of 6 who couldnt decide on what to eat, where to go...soups, salads, pizzas, pastas all were excellent. Highly recommended.

Puran's
Hillhurst/ across from the Albertson's, a few blocks south of Los Feliz Blvd.
