As it is the fall, we have been taking the opportunity to sample different pumpkin pies on offer. We are looking for more must-tries in the city. Here are a few we have sampled:
Blackbird - small tart-sized pies, creamy, subtle spice, not too sweet, candied pumpkin seeds on top.
Bonjour Brioche - crumbly tart crust, moist pumpkin custard with hints of nutmeg.
Patisserie la Cigogne - deep-dish quiche-like pie, nutmeg and maybe some clove, custard a little firmer and very smooth.
Ed's Real Scoop - smooth, pumpkin-y ice cream pie.
