Got pumpkin?

I was wondering what pumpkin dishes fellow Chowhounds have come upon recently.

My friend demolished a pumpkin ravioli at Allegria last week. I didn't like my seared scallops (loved the Gorgonzola salad though), so I wish I had gotten that! By the way, I do not recommend their desserts - the tiramisu had way too much cheese. Though they were very nice in fulfilling my friend's special request for cannoli.

I also had a pumpkin three-ways appetizer and pumpkin three-ways dessert at Ocean and Vine last week. The appetizer included savory pumpkin soup (thick and cinnamony, with chunks of pumpkin), risotto (creamy, mixed with pumpkin and topped with its seeds), and the richest pumpkin croquettes - bursting with goat cheese and pumpkin, fried lightly.

The dessert was decadent - my favorite was the pumpkin creme brulee. Break the sugary top crust and dip into smooth pumpkin heaven. The pumpkin tart and pumpkin/nut tart were okay -- to these, I preferred the chocolate souffle on the chocolate three-ways dessert.

So, any other seasonal pumpkin items you all look forward to annually or have recently discovered? :-)
