Ross's Grill -

Excellent food - App's. Small serving of barbequed ribs - falling off the bone good. Nice spicy sauce.
Entrees: I had their fillet of pan seared Cod with a light batter coating... almost a whisper of it. The fish was sweet and flaky. It was served on top of creamy mashed potatoes with cannellini beans and steamed baby spinach.
Other entree: a 12 oz. loin pork chop with a demiglaze sauce - tender and not overdone. Served with steamed vegetables and horseradish mashed. Nice for a fall night. Sampled several Austrialian reds, one in particular was a Patricia (v. good) and a Raymond Cab Reserve (Cal.)excellent.
Service was wonderful, attentive but not overbearing. Atmosphere - low key with a beautiful view of the Bay.

App's: Tomato/Mozarella/Basil salad with basamic vinegar. Am really starting to really miss summer tomatoes! It was still well done and fresh. Portuguese kale soup, good according to my husband but not like home. Brazilian Shrimp with rice, black beans and salsa.. and fried banana. 6 large shrimp perfectly done. They could loose the salsa - I think it just clashes with the taste of beans and rice.
Sante Fe Chicken - very similar to the Brazilian sauce for the shrimp (lots of garlic) but had Chipolte pepper in it. More of a smokey flavor - an acquired taste. It was served with the same sides. We shared their trademark apricot mousse for dessert.
Service was very good - atomosphere fun and lively.

Fanizzi's for lunch - A Monte Cristo for husband at the bar and 5 of my favorite double coated fried shrimp. They are SO good - not greasy. I look forward to ordering them when there. They actually have a parking lot which is amazing in P-Town!

Bayside Betsy's - hummmm... Overpriced food and not that good. I guess sometimes you pay for a view of the water.

The Mews has to have the best Martini bar in P-Town. The bartender there knows her stuff - a 3 minute shaken martini is just that. They have a very large selection of vodka's to choose from. It's a lovely smallish bar to go to for a nightcap.

Can't wait to go back!
