Providence Restaurants w. Great Service

I'm a diner who is loyal to restaurants with great food and great service. Food is important in the restaurant business but so is treating customers with respect and care. Let's showcase the restaurants with the most caring and considerate staff!

My vote goes to Rasoi hands down. I've been there to eat maybe 4 times and all times have been great. One time, I was ordering take out and the staff there gave me a free mango lassi as I was waiting for my order to be complete. Tonight, my bf and I waited at the bar for about 15 mins for a table and we were give free drinks and wafers to munch on. 15 mins is not a long time to wait for a table and we were happy to just stare at the wall. But instead, the staff constantly assured us that our table would be ready soon as well as asked us numerous times if we needed anything.

Aside from the excellent service, the food is just really spectacular. They try to be creative in their offerings -- you won't find only standard indian fare. I had the grilled lamb chops which were moist, tender, and perfectly cooked. My partner had the scallops in coconut milk -- I am usually not a fan of scallops but the creaminess of the coconut milk perfectly enhanced the natural sweetness of scallops. In my previous visits to Rasoi, I had the lamb meatballs stuffed with dried plums. Magnificent! And they have this candied cauliflower side dish that you just have to experience. The cauliflower has a nice crust from the carmelized sugar but also a saltiness and fieriness as well.

I don't normally gush about a restaurant but I just want this place to succeed because they're such nice people. Check them out!

So to which restaurants are you loyal?
