I swear on all my dead ancestor's graves that I have no business involvement with Rocca...I don't even know the owners. But after having another excellent meal there I just want to say that I think its an all around great place. The menu is a nice combination of regional italian dishes made with fresh local ingredients. The quality of the food is reliable and often wonderful. The space is sweet, the prices are reasaonable and they have a great wine list. Last night, had a terrific beet and goat cheese ravioli. Date had tagliagelle nero with day boat scallops - delish. It was kind of empty thogh, so I started to wonder how they were doing. The chef clearly cares about his cooking above all. It would be real tragedy for a place like this to disappear.
