I’m throwing a get together December 6 for roughly 30 people and I plan on making some items this weekend and freezing to save myself some time. Specifically meatballs, sausage & peppers and sauce.
My question is, would it be safe to store these in those disposable aluminum pans, then defrost and heat day of? I plan on browning the meatballs and then finish cooking in the sauce. I’ve read somewhere that aluminum and tomatoes are a big no-no.
Any insight/ideas would be most helpful!
