Proper English Tea

Roz Stone | May 13, 2003 01:14 PM

My English mother is coming to visit and for her birthday we want to take her out to high tea. She has been to Tea and Sympathy and she liked it very much, but I am looking for other options, maybe something fancier. Since she is British I would like it to be a proper English tea, nothing pseudo, and the food should be good and very English. Real scones, cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches, sausage rolls if possible, you get the idea.
