Proper al pastor tacos in Montreal?

zerodosage | Aug 24, 201909:36 AM     4

Is there a place that consistently serves proper al pastor tacos in Montreal? What I mean by that is that meat is marinated and roasted on a spit, cut in the proper way (like a shawarma) and served with a sliver of chargrilled pineapple, a few cubes of onions, cilantro and salsa . A few times I tried, I had cubed (and what it seemed like oven roasted) pork with cilantro and salsa. I have seen the spit at Matraca but it is usually empty without the big mound of rotating pork. I know it is a turnover issue, and there is not a lot of demand so a lot of places are taking shortcuts I assume.

Maybe Lebanese joints in town need to branch out (as they are the cultural originators of this style)
