During the time of Covid-19, we've had to say good-bye to some beloved restaurants and food purveyors and dread news of the next closing. So it is especially sweet and a welcome relief to learn of the return of one such institution. The Prolific Oven shuttered last August after 39 years in business. https://www.chowhound.com/post/bakeri... It has returned during the crisis to offer baking kits to make its most popular Chocolate on Chocolate cake, the mainstay of generations of Peninsula birthday celebration, at home. A kit for chocolate chip cookies is also available.

Ordering is online,

Pick up is Thursday May 7, at the former Sunnyvale location, now operated by the same family as:
TAP'T Beer & Kitchen
259 W Washington Ave
Sunnyvale, CA 94086
