profiterole redux

mr.nelso | Apr 4, 200506:25 PM

I had lunch today at Delaurenti's in the Market. I got the usual, pizza and (fabulous) mixed green salad, and I noticed they were selling profiteroles. I had never eaten one, but a recent post here piqued my curiosity, so I got one. Oh my. Good cream-puff base, topped with dark and light chocolate mousse. Since I don't know a good profiterole from a hole in the ground, I can't comment on its relative worthiness, but, absolutely speaking, it was very tasty. And not expensive. I don't remember the price, of course, but imagine it was about $2.00.
