I know this is like the millionth thread on this topic but I'm having trouble seasoning my debuyer. I've done the stovetop flaxseed method that vollrath uses, which resulted in a sticky pan, i think used too much oil/electric stove may have heated unevenly. So it was scrubbed out salt potato peeled then seasoned with coconut oil on the stovetop. The girlfriend then made lemon chicken and left in for me in the pan, for a few house and the lemon stripped the seasoning. She reports it was not sticking. My third attempt was the flaxseed oil oven method which resulted in a nice dark coating like in the pictures which promptly peeled off after cooking two eggs and a steak. It actually peeled off in some places in decent pieces. Am using too much oil? Too many coats? Thanks in advance for all your guys/girls time reading this.
