I Need a Probe Thermometer

seefoo | Oct 14, 201909:00 AM     10

i assume Thermoworks? i like the look and cost of the DOT version.

my last probe thermometer, i think i threw over the fence (i'm joking). it failed me miserably. i have an older TW instant read, and i recalibrated it recently, but i still have trust issues with it. i should send it in, just in case.

how are the probe versions? the technology has to be leaps ahead over my 15+ year instant read.

any other suggestions? i reserved a standing rib roast from my rancher, and i dont want to waste it by ruining it. figured a good probe thermometer is cheap by comparison.
