Looking for prix fixe menu <$100pp dinner or <$50pp lunch

Bon Appétit | Jan 7, 200510:56 PM

Lot of 4-oh-4, Oops, sorry, that page or file was not found! in the old chow search engine. Someone should build a database/webpage on the prix fixe so that we know which restaurants has prix fixe on that day and use it throughout the year.

Need info on good/excellent prix fixe menu around the greater LA area. Hope to have it less than $100 per person before drinks, tax, and tip for dinner. Much less for lunch (<$50). Need to know # of course and what day of the week that's offer or everyday.

Here are some examples that I have been to and remembered. (was) mean a while ago, not lately so price may have changed.
ie. Shiro was $35pp 3 course Wednesday not sure how good SPAS is since the move to WLA.
Joe's was $48pp 5 course everyday
Bistro 561 $58pp 9 course Th-Fri ($29 8 course for lunch) Note: it's a cooking school so even with the same dish, it can taste differently with different chief so take your chance.
Mason Akira $42-60 3-4 everyday ($25-45 3-5 course lunch) M-S
Patina $85 5 course $100-120 6 course everyday
Ritz Pasadena was $100 5 course everyday

Please share some of your finds!
