Heading down from Boston for the Architectural Digest Home Show in a couple of weeks. It coincides with St. Patty's Day. Last year, we were able to have a beautiful prix fixe lunch at Nougatine and then dash up to the Upper East side and catch the tail end of the parade.
We could do exactly the same thing again this year but I thought if I could find a place more midtown oriented, we could watch the parade first and then head to lunch but that presumes knowing how long it will take to watch the parade closer down to where it is starting and then finding a place not too far away so that we don't kill too much of our timing traveling from Point A to Point B.

Last year seemed a bit hectic running from lunch to the UES - hoping with some advice we can see the parade AND have a beautiful foodie prix fixe lunch that day.
