Fellow hounds, for some reason, though we love other ethnic foods, we are not familiar with Korean food, so when I read the posts here, I have no idea what any of you are talking about! We live in Redondo and I know there are lots of Korean places in Gardena and surrounding areas. Are there any old posts that explain Korean food, or would anybody be patient enough to explain a few of the more pedestrian dishes in English? We love spicy food, Thai, Indian, sushi, Chinese, and would appreciate any suggestions. We don't eat anything too weird (think sweet shrimp, entrails, quail eggs, liver, strong-tasting fish, including salmon, but love fresh mild fish and all seafood including good oysters). Thanks so much!
