Prime Beef: Mercer County

mchametzky | Jul 25, 201607:29 AM     3

Hi,
I live in Mercer County, NJ. Several markets here sell USDA Prime grade beef, retail. I've purchased, prepared and eaten such products from the usual suspects such as Wegmans and McCaffrey's. Both have been very good, albeit expensive (which is to be expected, I guess).

More surprisingly, I've had Prime Beef from Dolce and Clemente's (in Robbinsville) which has been at least as good as the other places, and less pricey. Last week, I discovered Prime NY cuts at the Acme on Route 33, in Hamilton (didn't buy any), but the butcher assured me it was truly prime grade. Reasonably priced too, compared to Wegmans and McCaffrey's, at least.

So, I ask you all, beef eaters of Mercer County: what recommendations and/or comments do you have on this matter?

Thanks.

MC
