Prime 112 review-What's the deal?

I've been there twice and have been stunned by something. Why is the process to get a table so bad but once you sit down, the service and food so good?

I understand a restaurant wanting to be trendy but making people WITH RESERVATIONS wait 45 to 90 minutes for a table (on a weekday) is just crazy. The hostesses couldn’t have been more unhelpful. They kept saying the table would be ready “shortly.”

Yet, I know they have the ability to run a restaurant because the other elements of the restaurant are very good. Thanks to advice from this board, we didn’t focus on the steaks but on the other menu items. Over two visits we had the wedge salad, mini burgers, the 14 oz. NY strip, a fish special, four cheese truffled mac and creamed corn with truffles, truffled fries and a peanut butter pie. Everything we had was excellent. But the whole process of getting a table is just ridiculous. I think they're making a mistake over the long run.
