Just had a quick lunch at Blue Ribbon BBQ for the first time today, and it was pretty good. I got the BBQ pulled chicken sandwich, which was alright. Best part was the price, with 2 sides, for 6.95. That's a deal for me. Large bun, but soft, so that it went well with the chicken and was easy to eat, i.e. it stayed together. Could have been more chicken, especially larger hunks, as opposed to the multiple stringy pieces. I used some extra spicy/sweet BBQ sauce for dipping, which had some good kick and a nice tang. Not too thick, not too thin as bbq sauce goes, just about right for coating. Got the mashed potatoes for my sides, next time I'll be sure to try the collard greens as well. Best part of the whole thing was the price. I went to the one in Newton, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Very cute store, wasn't overcrowded, nice folks. I'll be back.

Also stopped in the Keltic Krust Bakery next door, noticed that they're serving sandwiches now. Any news of these?
