I just came back from my favorite food store (Kalustyans on 29th and Lexington -- you New Yorkers know what I mean). Anyway, they were using valuable refrigerator space to store their unopened jars of preserved lemons. A few questions:
1. Should I throw out my unopened jar of preserved lemons that's been sitting in my closet for about 3 years?
2. If I open it, do I need to refrigerate the leftovers?
3. Any suggestions what to do with them? I bought them on a whim and never got around to using them in anything.
