First, as not to confuse anybody, I am one of the owners, and chef, of Press 195, the sandwich shop that is being discussed here. I appreciate all positive/negative comments regarding the operation, it is the only way we will improve. Yes, it may have taken Nina a bit of time to receive her sandwich however every day we have been open has been smoother. We never could have projected the sheer volume of business that we have encounted and in fact we hired more staff today to ensure we provide a more enjoyable experience. I am taken back by Nina's comment however about sandwiches that are not interesting, please try our Portabella with goat cheese, arugula, black olive and roated garlic spread. As well, we do not even have Magic Hat on tap (Brooklyn Lager currently) so I am a bit puzzled. True, there may have been a mistake on the bill, it happens everywhere and it has happened to us already. I apologize for the experience and do hope you can give us a second chance. In the few !
days we have been open we already have had customers return several times, most often for the Cuban sandwich that has been described as fantastic many times. And, to clear all confusion we are not related whatsoever to Red, White and Bubbly, the owners and staff are simply happy customers. Again, I do apologize for this isolated experience and do hope Nina gives us a second try...... Thanks very much for providing a great forum for discussion....happy eating
