Pre-ordering Franklin Barbecue - how much of each item to order?

ah6tyfour | Mar 14, 201709:38 PM     4

Hi everyone! Coming to Austin for the first time in just over a month. I'm pre-ordering Franklin Barbecue for the upcoming trip. We're going to have a total of 5-6 people and I'm wondering what combination of meats to order. I know they're known for their brisket, but I'm not very good at knowing how to estimate how much each person needs to get full.

I'm thinking 4 pounds brisket, 3 pounds ribs, and 3 links? I was originally thinking one link per person, but if they're sliced up, I don't think each person will actually want to eat a whole link. I assume pulled pork and turkey are not the stars at Franklin, so I'm not adding them to my order. If I'm wrong through and those two are fantastic, let me know so I can add it in!

Excited to visit Austin!
