pre-fab polenta - how can I jazz it up?

I bought a 'bloc' of pre-fab polenta to experiment with (OK, it seemed like a good idea at the time). I fried up a bit as recommended on the package and found it a bit bland. I've lots of recipes that indicate what to do when making it from scratch (adding various cheeses, chicken stock, etc to the cornmeal) but...what could one do with the solidified leftovers, for example, which is basically what mine is...?
