Pre-Dinner Drink in Calistoga or St. Helena

TLM | Aug 23, 201901:54 PM     5

OK chowhounds, I need some advice. I have a group of 10 who are going to be in a meeting all day on Saturday, Oct 5 (like 8 am to 5:30 pm) in St. Helena where we are staying, and then we have dinner reservations at Solbar in Calistoga at 8:30 pm. So my question is what would be a good place to go for glass of sparkling wine before dinner, or another pre-dinner activity we could do for an hour or so either in St. Helena, Calistoga or somewhere in between? This is mostly couples (4 guys with wives, 2 without, mid 50's average, no kids), all like wine, open to ideas. We're from around the country literally coast to coast and north to south with varying degrees of wine experience and knowledge. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
