Power was out from Saturday late afternoon to Wednesday late afternoon. I was out of town. Basement flooded so husband was busy with that and never touched the full sized stand up freezer. It was full of food. I haven't been back to the house to check the freezer until this morning. I thought I would have to toss everything but was very surprised to find containers of sauce I froze still covered in a nice layer of frost -- like they were before since the freezer needed to be defrosted.
I haven't had a chance in really inspect in depth. Do you think I need to toss everything? I know I had a 11 pound pork shoulder, perhaps a turkey on the bottom shelf which is always the coldest.
