Powdered milk--Have you used it for baking?

I bought a tin of Saco powdered cultured buttermilk blend. Has anyone ever used this for baking? Any tips? The instructions say to mix the dried buttermilk with the dry ingredients and then add the appropriate amount of water where the recipe calls for liquid buttermilk.
