I initially wanted to make truffles for Valentine's Day today, but the ganache didn't firm up as I wanted it to.
I found this thread (http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/8030...) and was intrigued by the brownie/molten lava cake idea.
However, I don't want something as chocolately as that. Do you guys think I could substitute the brownie batter with cake batter?
Or any other suggestions? It doesn't have to be Valentine's Day themed - anything but truffles and dipped fruit please!
