I need a good recipe for pound cake, preferably one that I can make in a large bundt pan, or a recipe that can be successfully doubled. For years I have been making a "7-Up Cake" recipe that I got from a neighbor, but I want to try a more traditional pound cake. I tried the classic pound cake recipe from the Cooks Illustrated Best Recipe book, but it was really eggy tasting. Does anyone have a tried and true, no frills recipe they would share? My kids would be forever grateful!
