No posts yet on Uva in Richboro, so here is my report

It replaced an old restaurant called Il Gatopardo. From what I've been told, the new owners kept the same name for a few months and then decided to change it to Uva. I don't think they made any changes to the décor.

We went on a Saturday night and it was very busy and very noisy. The service was a tiny bit haphazard, but not bad enough to say we would not return and probably because it was so busy and there was a party of ten in front of us. The portions are quite generous and although relatively high for the 'burbs, fair considering the quality of the preparations and quantity. It's a BYOB, so there's a big savings.

My husband I shared a delicious pasta appetizer, 3 homemade ravioli stuffed with a pumpkin puree and topped with a light clear sauce with pancetta in it. We both also ordered main course specials. My husband had the boar chops and I, the pan sautéed grouper, both well prepared. We were too full for dessert and ended with espresso and complimentary chocolate limoncello, which tasted like a spiked mini shake.

I think this is a good suburban alternative, although, we will probably try to return on a week night, since it is quite noisy on Saturday evenings.
