A few things come to mind immediately..
Arugula and cilentra.. I can't believe how many recipes call for these.. I immediately substitute parsley.
Seaweed.. Haven't tried this yet but think I will try grass first and if I get by that will try it.
Calamari.. Had this about 4 or 5 times and just thought it might be a cousin of the onion ring. But the 6th time I had it they served it with the tenalcyles.. haven't had it sence.
Sweetbreads.. need I say more
Cooked cauliflour.. also cooked cabbage.. YIKES!
