ABOUT POSTING RECIPES ON CHOWHOUND

The Chowhound Team | May 18, 2004 09:47 AM

Chowhound is all about sharing resources so we can all eat better, and that includes sharing our favorite recipes. However, please read the following before posting any recipes.

Please note that it is against Chowhound.com rules to post copyrighted material, including recipes copied verbatim from any published source (books, magazines, web sites, etc.). See Chowhound posting rules at the link below.

You can post recipes (here on the General Topics board, please) if you follow these guidelines:

1. If the recipe is available elsewhere on the internet, provide a link to it instead of reproducing it here.

2. To post a recipe from another source: you may reproduce the ingredient list exactly, with no changes. However, you may not copy the text of the recipe directions into your post, you must parphrase the directions in your own words. Don't just change one word here and another there, restate the directions as clearly as possible using your own sentences. And include the source of the recipe.

Happy Cooking!
