Help with post-wedding dinner in Vegas

Jen | Apr 27, 2005 01:58 PM

Yes, I decided to go the Vegas route, and while I have a hotel and chapel picked out, I'm not sure where to go after the wedding. There will only be 12 of us, so I don't see the need for a traditional reception, but I want something that will make everyone happy.

We're staying at the Mirage, and I'm considering Samba Grill, but I'm afraid we'll be disappointed because I'm of Portuguese descent and live in a very Portuguese/Brazilian area. I'm not sure the rodizio will live up to what we're used to.

Most of the guests are open-minded, but we've got a very crotchety, 50-something garbageman going, and he pretty much only likes meat and the basics. So, the restaurant would need to have something more traditional for him.

What do you suggest? We're looking at all price levels.
