Thanks to all who offered advice and suggestions regarding Artisanal. Turns out the service was excellent and we didn't eat the fondue. But we did eat a wonderful charcuterie/cheese plate as an appetizer, that was a meal in itself. The entrees were very good (a risotto and a trout amandine) and we were too full for dessert. My only complaint was the wine. The waitress was delightful and very helpful, but she didn't know her wines very well, and she steered my companion in totally the wrong direction considering my companion's specs. Also, when my second glass of wine arrived (supposedly a duplicate of the first) it was obviously a different wine, darker and sweeter. When I questioned her about it she said it was the same and I'm assuming the bar made the error. Also, they don't give you a full pour, and at $14 or $17 a glass (!!!) that's not right. I'd certainly eat here again based upon very solicitous service and wonderful food, especially the cheese -- but I would only order wine by the glass based on a discussion with the sommelier, and I would insist on a full pour.
