Positive Experience at ETC. steakhouse in Teaneck

cappucino | Jan 20, 201112:15 PM     20

Went with our son. Waitress was well informed and extremely polite at all times. A bonus was that she was friendly and accommodating to my son. I had been worried that since it was an upscale place, they would be unfriendly to children. Immediately gave us two plates to share the risotto. Warned him of the hot plate. Just nice to him. Had the duck confit risotto. It was good, but i believe the artichokes ruined it for me. I just don't like artichokes so it was not a wise choice on my part. The Pomegrante Hangar steak was absolutely perfect. We tasted the pomegrante in the sauce and the beef was thick, flavorful, cooked just as I asked. The sweet potato salad on the side was also quite good. Portions were very generous. Banana cream pie was good, but we would have appreciated a larger portion with more banana cream. Elegant ambience, swift service. Will go back.
