Poked my head in this morning and my eyes landed on the Portuguese Tarts, 90¢ apiece. These could have been more brulee'd on top but these are quite good with a buttery cookie crust and rich dense custard.
I noticed that the liner paper was from Tai Wu, which closed in Foster City and Daly City. Wonder if there's any connection between the businesses or maybe this bakery bought surplus supplies.
