I'm exploring Portuguese food. I would like some tips on good Portuguese wines. Not port. That's been discussed a lot. Though I am fond of port.
Pretty much I've been exploring the low end ... Casal Garcia Vinho Verde, for example. They are all pleasant table wines, but I guess they are the Carlo Rossi of wines.
So, I would like to know some good wines from some good wineries. If you have any suggestions for pairing Portuguese wine with food I'd be interested. Just what do you drink with bacalhau (salt cod)?
