Anyone know where one can get ahold of some portuguese sausage? I had the pleasure of having p. sausage and eggs when I was visiting Hawaii last week and have been fiending for a fix ever since. My bro says he can't find it for the life of him in San Diego, but I figure a foodie town like SF has got to have an importer _somewhere_.
The people I was staying with even offered a frozen one for me before I left. Should've taken em up on the offer.. :(
Also, anyone have a good lead on manapua's in the city? I had a few at a Portuguese bakery when I was there and was hooked. My basic understanding was that it was a bun filled with chopped portuguese sausage, and some veggies (I think onion and cilantro).
